About Us - The Harvest Story
Harvest Bible Chapel of Canton, Mich., started in 2003 as an independent, non-denominational church. The church’s start in Canton, a western suburb of Detroit, included 13 adults and a handful of children worshiping in the basement of a home. From the beginning, the leaders of the new church looked to Harvest Bible Chapel as a model.
By mid-2006, the church had grown effective ministries for the congregation. The church’s leaders continued to look at Harvest as a model and sought to connect with Harvest in a deeper way. The Fellowship worked with the church to transition it into the first Harvest Bible Chapel in Michigan. This transition was completed in October of 2006 and Harvest Bible Chapel of Canton has been growing ever since!
